Prayer times that fit into your day

The Problem

origin & context

Most prayer apps are weighed down by intrusive advertisements, tracking, and unreliable location lookups, while Bosnian municipal schedules often exist only as static tables or PDFs. More importantly, none of them synced with work calendars, making it difficult to keep daily meetings and prayer times from overlapping.

System Architecture

calendar sync & on-device times

Prayer times for 118 Bosnian cities, computed on the device. Log each vakat, keep a Kur'an pace and a zikr count, and sync the vakats to Google Calendar.

Interface

10 screens · drag or scroll to preview
Plates
01 · StationThe day on a ribbonThe whole day on one timeline, each vakat a tap from logged sam or u džematu.
02 · StationScreensaverLeft alone, the desk clears to sky, seconds and the next vakat — readable from across a room.
03 · StationMonthly takvimThe month as an almanac, any prayer printed under each day, with ICS and print export.
04 · StationRitamThe streak, the last thirty days, and which prayers actually slip.
05 · StationGoogle Calendar syncConnect once and the vakats are written into the calendar you already plan around.
06 · HandheldPocket sanctuaryThe phone draws the day as an arc rather than a ribbon, with the open vakat and the running zikr to hand.
07 · HandheldDnevnikOne day at a time: prayers marked sam or džemat, pages read, zikr counted, and a note.
08 · HandheldPrakseWhich practices the Dnevnik asks about. Switch one off and the row goes, not the days behind it.
09 · HandheldHatma in progressPages against a daily pace rather than a deadline, with the hatma date the pace works out.
10 · HandheldZikr counterOne tap per count, with the Arabic, the translation and the reference. Back to zero at midnight.
