Bosnia and Herzegovina votes · Part 06 of 07

Names versus parties

  • Presidency (this part)
  • State House (this part)
  • Entity (this part)
  • Canton

A Presidency candidate and their party’s parliamentary list are on the ballot at the same time, in front of the same voters. Setting one against the other shows how much of a vote belongs to the name, and how much to the party.

Preliminary 202695.5% of polling stations counted, as of October 05, 2026, 07:00 am. Votes by post and absentee ballots are not in yet, and seats are allocated only once the count is certified, so seat charts still compare 2018 and 2022.

The answer

In 2026, Branko Blanuša drew 3.6 times as many votes as the SDS list did from the same voters. At the other end, Bakir Izetbegović got 21% fewer votes than the SDA list.

How far a name runs ahead of its party

Each row puts a candidate’s votes against their party’s list in the same entity: the State House for the Presidency, the RS Assembly for the RS president. Above ×1, the name drew voters the party did not; below ×1, the party drew voters the name did not.
